With all the scandals that have faced the U.S. Government, it leads one to believe that all government political offices are corrupt. One of the most recent ones is the Illinois governor. Why is it that he is still able to make executive decisions? A man who is caught red handed (we all know he is guilty) is still making these decisions. If it were any of us, we would probably still be in jail and couldn’t even make a decision on when we wanted to take a piss.

Now, Bill Richardson is not able to take the commerce position? With all the corrupt politicians out there, how can one think any of them are not out for their own interest? This is not just a democrat bashing because republicans are just as guilty…it just not your turn right now. You had your turn playing footsie with boys in the bathroom.

Many years ago a new Sega tried to be the first to make a CD operated game console but failed with both the Sega CD and the Dreamcast. This brought Sega’s dream of creating a console crashing down. Is PlayStation next?

First PlayStation is doing terribly and is lagging behind the Wii and Xbox in sales. What does this mean for PlayStation? Gaming companies will allocate more funds towards the WII and Xbox, as they know that’s where the sells are.

Why is PlayStation falling behind?
First thing is cost. Equipping each system with a blu ray player was worthless. It is a gaming console; a DVD player would have fit in just fine and would have lowered the price. Right now, the global economy is in a recession and having the most expensive gaming console is not the best idea. Blu Ray movies are twice the price of a DVD, just another downfall.

I don’t see PlayStation going the way Sega has but they really need to drop prices before everyone is focused solely on the Xbox or Wii. The PlayStation does offer some nice feature like free online game play which Xbox charges for and it also has a built in wireless adapter that Xbox charges for but here again most people play solo or without a connection.

There are many ways that PlayStation could have come out with a cheaper system. Also PlayStation should have learned from Sega’s mistakes, stick to what you do best gaming. Don’t worry about future media unless it’s mainstream which may take a couple years for Blu-ray.

There have been many blogs posting articles of Michael Jackson dying or at least needing a lung transplant. Have you heard about this? Is it real? Or just another rumor?

Ryan DeVault from Associated Content reports :

“Michael Jackson is allegedly dying from a potentially fatal genetic disease that is affecting his lungs. This is what Michael Jackson’s biographer is claiming — that the pop-star is waging in the fight of his life against a genetic disease that has left him nearly blind and in need of a lung transplant.”

The media loves to publish articles based on very few in any facts, at least in the entertainment word. Many bloggers and news reporters have reported Michael Jackson’s illness, I guess time will tell.

If you have any creditable source of this story please leave a comment with the link. Thanks.

Steve Jobs will not be attending the 2009 MacWorld Expo and Apple has stated that 2009 would be the last year that Apple plans to attend the event. News reports deny any relation to Jobs’ health as a reason for not attending the event.

The event focuses on Jobs releasing products and giving a glimpse of upcoming and future products. Will MacWorld be the same without Jobs and Apple? I think the event will still be successful, but has definitely lost a major part of the event which cannot be replaced. At the same time, Apple has lost the biggest product promotion event it had. So what does Apple have planned to replace MacWorld? What is MacWorld going to do with Jobs and Apple?

I forget the site I first heard this from but did a Google search and around 50 sites were reporting this story as of this writing. Could Apple release a special version just for Wal-Mart? If this goes through, Wal-Mart and Apple would probably have huge increases in sales during a time of lacking sales.

I know many people that want an iPhone that aren’t willing to fork out the money for it but at $100 I am sure they would change their minds. Would you buy a 4 GB iPhone for $99?

Microsoft is in the process of upgrading its Windows platform with the new Windows 7 operating system but it looks like they took a page out of Apple’s playbook. The new operating system will offer multi-touch screens but doesn’t look good for Microsoft; maybe they should have called Google and ask how they did so well on the iPhone.

By the looks in the video, the new version of Windows will be more frustrating than Windows Vista but there is good news. They listened to users and worked on the annoying alerts every time you open a program . This is supposedly fixed in the new version but is seems they need a lot more work before releasing this operating system.

The expected release of the new version is June 3, 2009. Maybe by then they will have the bugs fixed. I personally won’t be the first one rushing out to buy it. You?

I have been waiting for this for quit some time as I watch television shows on Hulu.com rather that through cable. Why wouldn’t Google take over television, they’ve already took over the internet. I think that it would be a great thing for YouTube user’s but not really sure how Google will monetize it but if anyone can do it Google can.

Today, as millions of shoppers trampled their way through stores to find the best deal on that one item they have been waiting to buy all year. I woke up early to go to Wal-Mart to get the Xbox 360 with Guitar Hero combo for $199.99 as a gift for a friend. After waiting in line for 3 hours, I was told by a Wal-Mart associate that I was, along with others, had been standing in the wrong line.

Then, time came for the sale of the Xbox. They only had 32 and within minutes I was getting closer to the front when another associate said they were out. So after several hours of waiting in two different lines, I missed the chance to get it. After this upsetting event, I decided that Black Friday is longer worth the hassle.

What do you think? How did you spend Black Friday? Did you get the items that you went out for?
